The SIMA Summer Showcase will feature coaches from prominent collegiate programs at the world class facilities of Montverde Academy from July 28-31. Boys ages 14-19 will be able to train, compete and live the SIMA experience. Boarding and commuter options available.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time is check-in and check out?
Initial check-in is in Arnold Hall on Sunday 10am, and check-out on Wednesday 11.30am in the same location.  For the rest of the days commuters must check-on 8.30am at Arnold Hall, while dismissal will be after the last event of the day from the location/field.

What is a typical residential camper schedule?
7:00am Wake Up
7:30am Breakfast – Bedell Dining Hall
9:00am Field Session #2 (BG1, BG2 or BG3)
11:00am Lunch – Bedell Dining Hall
2:00pm 7v7 matches
5:00 pm Dinner
7:15 pm 11v11 matches
9:00 pm Downtime in the residence hall
10:00 pm Lights Out

Are teams welcome?
Yes. There are team discounts available from 10 players, please contact sima@montverde.org to get the details. All discounts must be applied at registration, as we cannot apply a discount AFTER registration. 

Can my son room with a friend?
Yes. Please make sure when signing up for camp, that each camper chooses one another to be roommates.  

What should a camper bring?
All campers should bring:
•      Shoes - Cleats, Indoor, Tennis, Shower
•      Linens - Pillow, Sheets, Blanket
•       Shin guards
•       Water Bottle
•       Rain gear

•      Extra clothes & socks
•      Incidentals – spending money for camp store
•      Personal Toiletry Items

What medical care will be available?
Certified athletic trainer will be on duty. They will provide immediate medical attention to anyone who is injured or becomes ill, and will attend to general athletic training needs. All participants are to fulfill the medical information form including insurance in case of need to attend a hospital or doctor's office.

What does the camp offer for collegiate recruiting process?
The camp is designed for players striving to play at the highest collegiate level. We will have coaches from all levels of NCAA D1, D2, and D3 as well as other collegiate coaches. Our staff is always on hand to evaluate players.

What is the cancellation policy?
Once enrolled, your camper’s spot is held whether you choose to attend or not. Note that when you register and pay, you will not be refunded for cancellations regardless of any prior commitments or vacation plans that you may have. Prior to May 15, a full refund less the deposit will be issued. After May 15 and at least fifteen days prior to camp start date, a 50 percent refund less the deposit will be issued.

A full refund will only be given for the following circumstances: 1. Camp is canceled due to minimum enrollment not being met. 2. If campus is closed due to extreme weather, parents/guardians will be notified via email. Parents/guardians that make the decision to not attend when campus is open will not be refunded or credited.

How do I arrive to Montverde Academy campus?
Campus address is 17235 7th Street, Montverde, FL 34756.
For out-of-town campers looking for transportation to and from MCO (Orlando International Aiport) or SFB (Orlando Sanford International Airport) to camp, we recommend using Uber or Lyft to transport yourself to and from the airport. There are other ground transportation options that are more expensive from either airport.
