The Soccer Institute at Montverde Academy has released their SIMA Aguiluchos Elite ID Sessions dates. With days in August reserved for children born between 2008 and 2014, there will be a more in-depth level of attention to detail and development with each age division. The Aguilluchos program is part of a long-term development plan for the SIMA program as it focuses on elite level training with age-specific strategies to prepare athletes for the next stages of soccer competition.

The Aguiluchos program does not just prepare your child to excel in the U5 through U12 level of competition but also prepares them for the next step of their soccer career. Progression training is critical in this development model as children and their families are always working towards the future as well as excelling in the present. Each session is designed to train creative intelligence through decision making activities where the player has to make the choice between different options to solve situations.

The Aguiluchos program consists of age-appropriate training sessions and short sided games that are adjusted to the physical and psychological characteristics of each age group. This model focuses on the whole athlete, building soccer specific and athletic skills while inspiring them to be responsible citizens and community leaders as they develop. Competition will be available for every group and tailored to their development needs.

Montverde Academy is home to the Aguiluchos program and has state-of-the-art, professional grade facilities for training and development. Aguiluchos athletes will have access to top level fields and resources including an elite athletic training staff and additional development facilities. They will also be coached by licensed coaches that specialize in the early stages of long-term player development with international, MLS Development Academy, and SIMA coaching experience.
