Last Saturday, the first Aguiluchos Open ID Session was held at the Montverde Academy facilities.

With over 50 kids in attendance, the U5/U6 “Little Eagles” soared with fun ball dominant games starting at 9:00 a.m. while many U7/U8 impressed with their driving skills.

At 10:30 a.m. the U9 to U12 groups engaged in an hour and half long training session designed to develop their decision making and technique.

It was encouraging to see all players giving their best. Special thanks to our Soccer Institute at Montverde Academy (SIMA) student athletes and two-time US World Cup squad member Oguchi Onyewu for training with us.

Aguiluchos is coached by Director Andrew Douek and SIMA Assistant Goalkeeper Coach Jose Rodriguez who played for the United States Deaf National Team.

The next Open ID Session has yet to be released but the Aguiluchos program will start competition soon in the Florida Premiership Regional Elite Development League.
