The Aguiluchos Elite Training Program is hosting a final Open ID Session before the start of the season. This training program is for children aged U5 to U12 with an official start date of Monday, September 16.

The Saturday, September 7 Open ID Session starting at 9:00 a.m. will provide age-specific training elements to help foster a passion for soccer as well as a desire for improvement and competition. Members from the elite SIMA Gold roster will also be in attendance as volunteers to help facilitate the development and growth of our players.

Aguiluchos is part of the Soccer Institute at Montverde Academy (SIMA) long term player development plan that prepares young soccer talent at each stage for the next career step. While the Aguiluchos program is hosted at Montverde Academy, home of the SIMA program, participants do not need to be enrolled in the Academy to join. Participants will benefit from the same top-level training facilities as the SIMA program and will have access to SIMA’s elite coaching staff.

Director of Aguiluchos, Andrew Douek, is a SIMA Staff Coach with vast knowledge in developing young soccer athletes. He has international, MLS Development Academy, and SIMA coaching experience while holding the highest Argentinian youth and professional coaching licenses. Coach Douek is joined by SIMA Assistant Goalkeeper Coach Jose Rodriguez who was a member of the United States Deaf National team.

The Aguiluchos program will be participating in the Florida Partnership Regional Elite Development League and will provide countless opportunities for competition. Training sessions will be held twice a week for the U5 through U8 group and three times per week for the U9 through U12 group.

To register for Aguiluchos or the Open ID Session, visit the SIMA website at www.mvasima.com/aguiluchos or email Coach Douek at Andrew.douek@montverde.org.
