What:        The tenth Annual Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament (MAST) will play host to powerhouse programs Weston FC, Florida Rush and Lake Nona Lions among  other competitive domestic teams on the campus of Montverde Academy beginning Thursday, March 18, and running through Saturday, March 20, 2021.

Price:  The cost of admission is $30.00 for a Weekend Pass (includes parking and admission on the days of March 18, 19, & 20)

History of MAST:

The MAST has a rich history dating back to its inception in 2012 when Montverde Academy was victorious over American Heritage-Delray. With strong competition arriving each year, the MAST continues to be a tournament competition for elite programs around the world. For several years, the MAST partnered with the Florida Cup to present the FC MAST, which featured U17 and U19 age brackets in conjunction with top level professional teams from around the world on display in the State of Florida. In 2020, the MAST returned to its original tournament format of elite-level high school soccer combined with an International Super Group.

Top players have also come through the SIMA program, noting MAST as one of their top memories from their time at Montverde Academy. These players include Andre Shinyashiki '15 (MLS Rookie of the Year – Colorado Rapids), Diego Campos '14 (Chicago Fire), Benji Michel '16 (Orlando City), Hassan Ndam '16 (FC Cincinnati), Bruno Lapa '16 (Wake Forest), and Malick Mbaye '16 (Clemson).

"The MAST is a great tournament," said MLS Chicago Fire midfielder/defender, Diego Campos. "Coach Mike and Dr. Kesselring make an effort of bringing in the best teams they can possibly find, so it is always an honor to represent Montverde Academy and to play for SIMA in such a great tournament."
