SIMA: Goalkeeper Factory

SIMA is producing great student athletes on and off the field and the Goalkeeper program is no exception to that. Goalkeeper Director Christian Neira Bravo states " we believe in developing the human side first, where they focus on the values and identity as a program. Second, we strive to be the best in the academic side. Finally, we focus on the athlete and their uniqueness that allow us to develop their abilities to the fullest based on our Holistic approach and methodology." Following SIMA's values of person then student then player, the Goalkeepers have been no exception.  Student-athletes from the SIMA Goalkeeper program have volunteered over the years to help in goalkeeping specific sessions of SIMA Pre-Academy (ages 5-12). Since the start of the Pre-Academy program, 5 different students-athletes have transitioned into SIMA directly from SIMA Pre Academy:

  • Dustin Estep
  • Dax Pierce
  • Rylan Pierce
  • Raj Vieria de Andrade
  • Kenzo Tanaka Aranda

SIMA offers incredible exposure and opportunities to play in front of college coaches, professional scouts and teams for recruitment purposes at all levels. The Goalkeeper program provides daily training sessions with small groups to enhance performance with the coaches. The program also includes video analysis from both training and games to help the student athlete on their performance.

The SIMA Goalkeeper program has been able to develop goalkeepers from all levels and ages over the years and has been able to help many student athletes make the transition to the next level. These are the names that have made it through the ranks of the SIMA Goalkeeper program and where they were able to move onto in life after SIMA:
