SIMA Alumni Performances
Many SIMA Alumni were in action these past days all around the world at the professional level. Here some the top performances from our former Eagles at the next level.
Thomas Amang played 74 minutes for the San Diego Loyal and opened up the scoring after a beautifully placed volley inside the box. San Diego went on to beat Colorado Switchbacks F.C. 3-0. Amang has now scored 7 goals in 18 matches in the Loyal's USL Championship league campaign.
This month has been busy for Michee Ngalina after winning Goal of the Month for June, the Congolese winger was nominated for USL Championship's Midseason Young Player of the Year award. That is not all, the former Eagle was able to help contribute by bagging an assist for the Colorado Switchbacks in their 3-3 barnburner vs the Charleston Battery.
Benji Michel reached an important feat as he made his 100th appearance for Orlando City vs the Philadelphia Union. Michel joined the Lions as a homegrown player back in 2019 and is now tied for 5th in most appearances for the club.
