The Soccer Institute at Montverde Academy (SIMA) announces the line-up for the 2018 College Showcase set to be held at Montverde Academy on November 30 through December 1.

College coaches will be in attendance to observe Montverde Academy student-athletes as they play in their inter-squad evening matches.

SIMA Director of College Placement, Kevin Varnado, helps his soccer athletes find valuable spots on college rosters. Coach Varnado also helps with the college enrollment process and works closely with the Montverde Academy College Guidance office to ensure SIMA student-athletes are meeting academic requirements in order to be accepted into their desired schools.

"Over the years our SIMA College Showcase has grown into a significant recruiting event in the eyes of numerous college coaches throughout the country," said Coach Varnado. "In my opinion, this indicates just how successful we have been in establishing Montverde Academy and the SIMA program as a premier destination for student-athletes that aspire to take their talent to the collegiate level. Many of our alumni have gone on to establish themselves at the collegiate level and the SIMA College Showcase played an essential role in that journey."

This showcase gives all of our student-athletes the exposure they need when they have a desire to play at the next level. With four evening games over two days, these boys have the ability to prove their talent, ability, and passion for the game to those who can provide their next opportunity.

"Each year the feedback that we receive from the various coaches in attendance continues to grow," said Coach Varnado. "It’s an event that we look forward to as each year as it gives us an opportunity to welcome new coaching staffs to campus for the first time and showcase the talented student-athletes that make up the SIMA program."
