SIMA Soccer

The SIMA Soccer Program offered here at Montverde Academy is a noble training experience that allows students with a strong passion for soccer to extend their abilities. Each year, it's filled truly with challenges, growth, and perseverance. The players train at least five days a week, and have conditioning sessions three times a week. The SIMA program also requires a personalized fitness/nutrition counseling and profile. The players consist of students between the ages of 12-18 who wish to pursue soccer at a collegiate or professional level.

Their utmost goal is to provide a balance between academics and athletics for their students to gain opportunities for their future career in sports. Jake Ferris, 7th grade, "My goal is to become a professional soccer player in Europe." Daniel Ribeiro, 8th grade said "My goal is to get a scholarship in college and go professional after." Although SIMA is a task that should be taken seriously, coaches still find a way to make it fun for the students. Andreas De Fabrique, an 8th grader said "My favorite thing about SIMA are the games we all get to play." Deven Rangaswami, 7th grade "My favorite thing is the opportunity to play soccer."

The Soccer Institute at Montverde Academy guarantees that it's students will complete a rigorous academic workload while maneuvering their soccer schedule to ensure success in future endeavors. When asked to describe SIMA in two words the players mentioned family and unity, challenging and fun, and to put it simply, "the best." With no end in sight, we can all look forward to seeing what SIMA players and their future generations will accomplish.
